Philippines, from 5 to 8 September 2024 the Don Bosco TVET team from Cambodia led by Fr.Gerard Ravasco (Fr. GiGi) with other 5 participants from Don Bosco Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Poipet and Kep attended the International TVET Conference organized by Don Bosco TECH ASEAN at the Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippine. This conference serves as a critical platform to explore into the evolving landscape of education across TVET across the globe and important participants from the Don Bosco TVET Network in the region and beyond, including
policymakers, officials, academics, private sector representatives, international organizations, and renowned worldwide experts to explore the following objectives: 1) To enhance education by utilizing digital transformation, especially in relation to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. 2) To enhance the significance of education and training by integrating climate change curricula, fostering skills development for a fair transition, and promoting climate resilient vocations. and 3) To maximize the effectiveness of education investments by employing
interdisciplinary strategies and fostering collaboration across different sectors.
