Morning of November 23, 2024
The Kep Provincial Department of Environment organized a ceremony to celebrate National Environmental Hygiene Day, November 23, 2024, under the theme “Clean Villages, Green Environment, Sustainable Society.”
As part of the event, 3,000 mangrove saplings were planted in the Kep Village Fishing Community, and environmental sanitation activities were conducted along “Techo Santhipeap Coastal Road.”
The program was honored by the presence of His Excellency Kob Raly, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, and Mrs. Tith Sokha, Deputy Governor of the Kep Provincial Administration, representing the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Governor of the Kep Provincial Administration. Also in attendance were the city governor, civil servants, students from Don Bosco Technical School, and members of the Kep Village Fishing Community, with a total of 133 participants.
