1–2 minutes

The stunning landscapes and vibrant festivities of Kampot Province during the 2024 Sea Festival were made even more remarkable thanks to the hard work and dedication of the electrical students from Don Bosco Kep. In partnership with the Kampot Provincial Hall, these second-year students were entrusted with vital tasks related to the installation and maintenance of the electrical systems that powered the festival’s numerous events.

Led by their instructor, Teacher Vong Chhiev, the students worked tirelessly on the streets of Kampot City both in the days leading up to the event and throughout the festival itself. Their efforts ensured that the festival, one of the most celebrated in the region, ran smoothly and safely, bringing the beauty of Kampot to life for thousands of visitors.
The Kampot Provincial Hall, recognizing the significance of this collaboration, provided invaluable support, offering the students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. Their involvement not only enhanced the event’s success but also showcased the practical skills of the next generation of electrical professionals.

The warmth and care of the Kampot Provincial Hall towards the student team were evident throughout the process. This partnership between education and local government is a powerful example of how the youth of Cambodia contribute to their community while gaining hands-on experience that will serve them well in their future careers.
