Celebrating the Opening Ceremony for the 2024-2025 Academic Year and Award Presentation to Outstanding Students of the 11th Batch (2023-2024)

Kep – Friday, January 3, 2025 Don Bosco Technical School Kep Province, hosted the opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year under the leadership of Mr. Khen Vuthy, Governor of Kep City, joined by the Deputy Governor, city administrative officials, security forces, heads of various offices, village chiefs, Fr. Ly Samnang (Director of Don Bosco Technical School, Kep), Teacher Sen Ra (Principal), teachers, staff, and approximately 634 students and parents.

During the event, Teacher Sen Ra presented a report highlighting that Don Bosco Technical School, a non-governmental institution, has been operational for over a decade since its establishment in 2011. The school currently educates 543 students, with approximately 1,500 graduates to date. He added that 95% of graduates successfully secure employment, many in leading public and private institutions across Cambodia.

Governor Khen Vuthy expressed his gratitude to the school leadership, teachers, and staff for their dedication to training and educating students. He commended the students for their opportunity to study at Don Bosco Technical School, which provides high-quality education aligned with current market demands. The governor also urged students to avoid drugs and strive to be good citizens and model students.

Fr. Ly Samnang thanked the parents for their presence and support. He emphasized that Don Bosco Technical School is a non-profit organization committed to providing educational opportunities to underprivileged students, helping them complete their studies and achieve successful careers.

The ceremony also included the presentation of certificates of achievement to 40 outstanding students, including the top five achievers and exemplary students. The program concluded with a tree-planting activity to commemorate the event.
