On Friday, February 14, 2025, Don Bosco Technical School in Kep Province organized a program to bring together alumni and current students to establish the Don Bosco Cambodia Indigenous Community Project. The event was attended by Father Ly Samnang, the school principal, as well as students and alumni.
Among the participants was Soeun Bunny, a former student of the Communication and Media Department and a member of an indigenous community. He shared his experiences working abroad—both positive and negative—and highlighted his contributions to the development of his community.
This project aims to strengthen the educational process and personal development, especially for those involved in the Don Bosco Cambodia Educational Project.
Additionally, it promotes cultural preservation by celebrating and maintaining the traditions and customs of indigenous Asian communities through community events, workshops, and cultural activities. This is particularly important for those living in cities or away from their communities, such as students and workers.
Finally, the project seeks to build a strong and inclusive community of current and former indigenous Don Bosco students, fostering mutual support both personally and professionally.
