Students of Don Bosco Technical School Join Plastic Waste Cleanup Campaign

Kep, March 6, 2025 – On Thursday morning, Don Bosco Technical School in Kep Province collaborated with the Department of Environment and the Damnak Changer District Administration to participate in a plastic waste cleanup campaign along National Road 33A.

The campaign covered a 7-kilometer stretch, starting from the Salt Mine Roundabout in front of Damnak Changer District School to the border of Kampong Trach District, Kampot Province. A total of 273 participants joined the initiative, including civil servants, commune councilors, district inspectors, village guards, students, teachers, students from Hun Sen High School Chamkar Doung, Pong Teuk Secondary School, local business owners, citizens, and the Kep City sanitation team.

This cleanup effort aimed to protect the environment and raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean city.

We encourage everyone to contribute to environmental preservation by disposing of waste properly and taking part in regular cleanup activities. “Garbage is not as disgusting as when it is thrown everywhere.”
