DON BOSCO TECH ASEAN Case Exchange Series: Strengthening TVET Sustainability and Collaboration

1–2 minutes

Don Bosco Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Cambodia proudly participated in the DON BOSCO TECH ASEAN Case Exchange Series, a platform for sharing insights, best practices, and strategies to improve vocational education. Facilitated by RADI Consult, this series is an essential part of the final evaluation of DB TECH ASEAN, assessing its impact on institutions, policies, and beneficiaries. The Case Exchange Series brought together Don Bosco TVET institutions from different countries, each presenting on key topics related to technical education: Cambodia (Feb 26): Sustainability for TVET – Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with Skills Development Fund (SDF) & Networking for Sustainability. Indonesia (Feb 27): Green TVET Programs as Effective Offshoots of DB TECH ASEAN. Philippines (Mar 5): Digitalization of TVET – The Philippines Digitalization Story. Vietnam & Thailand (Mar 11): Dual Training and Collaborative Work with Company Partners for the TVET Program.

Each session, lasting about two hours, provided a space for TVET leaders, educators, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, showcase successes, and explore new strategies for sustainability and innovation. This exchange series holds significant value for Don Bosco TVET Cambodia’s headmasters, TVET teachers, and training programs. By participating, they gain fresh insights into sustainable approaches, industry collaboration, and digitalization that can be applied to improve vocational training. Learning from regional experiences enables them to refine strategies, strengthen networking, and ensure relevance in an evolving job market. Additionally, these sessions empower educators with innovative solutions that enhance both institutional growth and student success.

We extend our gratitude to the DB TECH ASEAN team, RADI Consult, and all participating institutions for their contributions. Through continued collaboration, Don Bosco TVET Cambodia remains committed to fostering high-quality, sustainable technical education that benefits underprivileged youth and society at large.
