Don Bosco Technical School Strengthens Environmental Education in Mangrove Community Areas, Kep Province

1–2 minutes

To foster a culture of environmental conservation and support natural sustainability, Don Bosco Technical School in Kep Province, through the Don Bosco Cambodia Environmental Alliance, has launched an environmental awareness campaign in local mangrove community areas. The initiative includes the creation and installation of information boards that highlight the importance of mangroves in protecting coastal ecosystems, preventing erosion, and supporting biodiversity.

As a partner in natural resource conservation, Don Bosco Technical School collaborated with the Ministry of Environment to install a large sign aimed at raising awareness about mangrove conservation. The effort focuses on educating students, local communities, and visiting tourists encouraging their active participation in protecting the environment.

This campaign is part of a broader mission of public environmental education, aimed at promoting climate change resilience and inspiring young people to become future environmental leaders
