Phnom Penh, Cambodia – 15 May 2025
Don Bosco Kep had the honor of hosting Ms. Blanca, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) representative from MANGO Spain, during a special meeting held in Phnom Penh. The visit was part of MANGO’s Women’s Empowerment Project, a global initiative aimed at supporting the rights, education, and development of women and girls.
Present at the meeting were Sister Juanita, Sister María, Teacher Vy, and Brother Luis, who introduced Ms. Blanca to the mission and activities of Don Bosco Kep, particularly its efforts to empower women and young people through education and skills training. The team shared stories of success and the crucial role that women and girls play in building resilient communities.
As a gesture of appreciation, Ms. Blanca received a handcrafted embroidery piece, made with care by the Vicuña girls from Banteay Srey, a group of young women who receive vocational training and support through the Don Bosco network.
The visit signifies a meaningful step toward stronger collaboration between international partners and local educational institutions. Don Bosco Kep is grateful for the interest and support shown by MANGO Spain and looks forward to continuing its mission of transforming lives and expanding opportunities for young women across Cambodia.
“Support from international organizations like MANGO encourages us to continue our work with even greater passion and commitment,” said Sister Juanita during the meeting.
