On June 10, 2025, Don Bosco Technical School Kep Province received a generous donation from His Excellency Dr. Saom Piseth, Governor of the Kep Provincial Administration. This support reflects his deep care and commitment to education and the well-being of students, especially orphans and underprivileged children, ensuring they have adequate nutrition for their growth and learning, so they may become a strong and capable force in society in the future.

This donation was also accompanied by the participation of His Excellency Im Panyarith, Deputy Governor of Kep Province; Fr. Ly Samnang, the school’s Rector; Mr. Sen Ra, the School Director; along with teachers, staff, and all students. The donation included rice, fish sauce, and soy sauce, which were provided to the school for preparing nutritious meals for the students and children residing there.

Fr. Ly Samnang, the Rector, expressed deep gratitude for the donation, noting that it significantly alleviates the school’s burdens, especially as it faces shortages and needs assistance to care for orphans living there. This contribution ensures the children have delicious food and enough energy to study, enabling them to acquire knowledge and skills to benefit themselves, their families, and society at large.

His Excellency Im Panyarith, Deputy Governor of Kep Province, also expressed great joy in personally attending and distributing the donation to the school, which was warmly welcomed by the school community. He remarked that, today, we no longer live in the same hardships as before, because we’ve already passed through a stage in which our parents experienced even greater difficulties. Therefore, we all must learn to share, help one another, and unite to build a better future for our society.
