On August 18, 2025, the Don Bosco Children Fund in Battambang organized a community meeting with parents of students currently studying in public schools. The purpose of the meeting was to explain how to use banking systems to support their children’s education more effectively. Many parents are still unfamiliar with banking services, so this initiative aimed to provide them with essential financial education.
Our team visited students and their families in several villages, including:
- Popel Kher Village
- Kok Kor Village
- Prey Kun Sek Village
- San Village
- Andoung Cheng Village
- Anlong Run Village
Through these meetings, we helped parents understand how to manage and transfer funds securely using bank accounts. Their active participation reflected a strong commitment to improving their children’s educational opportunities and embracing new tools for financial empowerment.
The Don Bosco Children Fund remains dedicated to working closely with communities to promote education and social development through family engagement and practical financial solutions.
