Ceremony to Dedicate Merits to the Spirits of Cambodian Youth Who Sacrificed Their Lives in the Defense of the Nation

On August 8, 2025, Don Bosco School in Battambang held a solemn ceremony to honor and dedicate merits to the spirits of all Cambodian youth who bravely sacrificed their lives in the defense of their homeland. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the courage and patriotism of those who gave everything for the nation.

During the ceremony, prayers were offered to God, asking for divine protection and peace for the souls of the fallen. Regardless of time or circumstance, their memory remains deeply rooted in the hearts of all Cambodians. The school organized this event not only to pay respects but also to seek blessings from sacred entities for the well-being of its students.

Among those honored were six students: Ou Visal, Hut Long, Pin Sokchea, Lun Sayyet, Phok Som, Rik Sokhak.

Alongside them, the ceremony also recognized the brave members of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces who continue to serve with unwavering dedication to protect the nation’s territorial integrity and peace.
