“Strenna” is a traditional New Year’s message or gift in the Salesian Family (the worldwide community inspired by St. John Bosco, or Don Bosco). Each year, the Rector Major (the worldwide leader of the Salesians of Don Bosco) writes and shares a Strenna — a spiritual message or theme — meant to guide and inspire all Salesians, teachers, youth, and collaborators for that year.
